I got offered a race..
Cadallic CTS Supercharged v6 vs. 05 Mustang v6.. I know that cadallics have lots of torque.. So i'm just kinda wondering which will most likly win.. Both are Automatics. And Stock. So what should i do? Lay some money down.. race for fun, or don't race at all.

I think the word Supercharged says it so it would probally blow you away but who knows..i might have read it wrong.

I would put my money on the Caddy

a 210 HP V6 against a 255HP V6 is a big jump from the stang

 

thats what i was thinking.. Weighs Less, 10lbs or so more torque.. and about 40 or so more horsepower.. So yea.. Didn't know if it was like the 06 Eclipse.. All Talk

 

Huh, there is no Supercharged CTS.

 

Yeah I was just gonna say, the only high perfomance CTS there is, is the "V" and that has a NA V8.

The regular CTS's have a 2.8L V6 with VVT for 210 hp and 194 lb-ft torque, or a 3.6L V6 with VVT for 255 hp and 252 lb-ft torque.

The V has a 5.7L V8 (LS6) with 400 hp and 395 lb-ft torque.

I would assume that the only one your Stang can take is the CTS with the 2.8L or the 3.6L (if you are the better driver, although even if this is so, it's still doubtful).

A CTS 3.6L should beat the 4.0L Mustang. Most mags have them running 0-60 low to mid 6s. It better for almost twice the money.
