Verts are heavier. If you plan on racing, get coupe. Street scene, both will do. If you live in Florida or Cali, vert.

The convertible! I passed on a 2003 Mach 1 to keep my 2001 Convertible simply because I couldn't give up my ragtop.

Depends what your goal is,

if you want a performance car to drive, get a hardtop

If you want to just cruise around and get some attention, get a ragtop.

Agreed. Ragtops are really fun, but you'll :bang: trying to compensate for the weight if better 1/4 mile times are your big goal.

I personally got my hard top because it was:
a ) cheaper than a vert.
b ) had a sun roof and that was good enough for me.
c ) looks right at home next to the fastback.

If they were the same price, it'd be hard to turn down a 'vert.

If the choice is a vert, try to find one that has been garaged.

I've got a 95 GT vert. Guess which way I voted?

I don't go to the track so I don't care about the slight difference in performance. My car is for cruising with the top down on nice days.

There really is no right answer. It all depends on what you want from a car.

B) VERTS ARE TOO BETTER B)

They do not smell like butt, and allow for you to take Christmas trees home, buckled in the front seat.

Chose coupe, verts are nice, but IMO a coupe is the way to go.

Coupe

Never liked convertible.

T-Tops are my favorite. Too bad Ford don't offer them on Mustangs.

...anymore. if ya want t-tops, its time to revisit the 80s. personally i'd go for the vert on just about any SN95. my favorite 1995 was the Cobra Hardtop Vert. best of both worlds right there.

although unlike Brad, i'd take the Mach over a vert neday...too bad they dont have a Mach 1 vert....
