ok guys...im lookin for a 99-01GT because id prefer the T45 tranny rather than the TR3650 because i like the feel better on a T45....what should i look for SPECIFICALLY when checking 1 out? also im looking into the 01 Bullits (true blue only) did the bullits come only w\ TR3650's or what? also, did any other 99-01's come in true blue in normal GT coupes or just bullits? thanks guys!

99-01 are mostly the same. In my 99 the cupholders are too close to the shifter so if something bigger than a can is in there it gets in the way. I think it was 2001 when the fake hood scoops were added.

 

Bullits had 3650 trannys. I had one in my 00gt when I replaced the t45. I put gm synchromesh tranny fluid and it felt no different as far as being notchy. It felt better at high rpms than the t45.

 

You like the t-45 over the 3650???? The 3650 is a much stronger more dependable tranny over hte t-45. How do I know, I'm on my 2nd t.45 and I can see it not lasting much longer.

I'd also rather have an 02 GT or higher. (or a bullitt). Something about the 02's seem to be making more power than a 99-01. It may have something to do with the 85mm maf they moved to with the IAT built in, but I have seen them dyno at 250rwhp with just a couple of mods.
