I love the Dodge guy's comment about not worrying about the Snake since it wears a blue oval and it was interesting to note that both cars pumped out 725hp, but the cooling system was inadequate on the Challenger.

That guy's voice is annoying.
Any driver pushing a car and distracting himself with commentary is not 100% focused on the road, and probably could've pulled better for both vehicles, but I digress.
The Kenne Bell in that Super Snake sounds AMAZING. I love that whine.
The Challenger actually LOOKS good out there on the road burning it up.
I chuckled when the Challenger overheated.

Hey that really is NOTHING new, Dodge has been making great engines stuffed into substandard cars and trucks for at least 50 years...
Look at the Cummins surrounded by that god awful Dodge truck...
Nothing has changed in all these years, you buy a Dodge for the engine, and take the substandard vehicle as part of the deal...

If you remember, during the '80s they made substandard vehicles with crappy engines.

More posted opinions and ZERO facts to support them. How refreshing. The Challenger overheated because obviously the builder did not upgrade the stock cooling system in spite of the built motor and s/c. How this is an indictment against a poor engineering decision is beyond me, unless of course you have a bias against Dodge to begin with.
To the poster that says we'll beat these cars easily in a short race...do you realize how completely false and lame of a statement that is?

Oh come on now, everyone knows Dodge with their German engineering and their Mexican Hemi's sucks!
Oh and call it lame if you will, but I am quite sure I can take any of the three flavors of Challenger...

I don't see your point. Being supercharged from the factory would account for why the GT500 would not need a cooling system upgrade for only 725hp. SVT and Ford know full well customers will be adding boost and putting a higher demand on cooling system componants. Whereas the 6.1 is n/a and was never engineered to have a supercharger on it. As for what Dodge has planned for the Challenger...who knows. Rumors are afoot of a 6.4 hemi.
