I'd have to see some other color and/or see one in person to make up my mind. It looks like the headlights have some sort of air inlet under them, or is it just a dirt collecting cavity? On both cars (especially the '15-17), I'm amazed at how small the actual open portion of the grill is.

Is there any question? 10-Speed Auto, magnaride suspension, PP on any trim, dual mode exhaust, dual injection fuel system. (The switch to dual fuel injection will be good for a boost in HP, TQ, and fuel efficiency. How much? Unknown, at this time--but, stock vs stock, I wouldn't bet pinks against an 18 with the V8 and 10AT. Witness how much faster the SS with the 10AT than the SS with the stick. ) The dropped hood will probably improve the sight-line, along with improving the aerodynamics. The 18 is a better car.
Looks are subjective (which explains why some people buy Camaros). You might not like the looks. But my guess is Ford will sell a lot of them. (2016 mustang sales were down over 13% from 2015--in the US. The sales were up 45% in China.)
