2012 Mustang GT or 2009 CTS-V?
What all would you pick?
Fully loaded GT with every option but the accessory package or a 2009 CTS-V certified with 10-15k miles loaded including recaros and chrome wheels?

Mustang. I love the Caddy, but I don't ever visit Caddy message boards or buy books about Caddies or look for when Cadillac car shows are coming or collect scale models of Caddies...... Gotta go with what I love. The CTS-V is the nicer and faster car,but for 70K it should be. It just doesn't interest me.

For me the CTS-V it does everything the gt does but better. More comfortable ride, handles better, faster in a straight line, far better interior. If the caddy won't break you the answer should be obvious. Just my opinion.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not but he has a valid question and probably wanted to hear our take on it. Only fanboi's are afraid to discuss other cars. So ill just chalk it up to sarcasm lol

Man, thats a tough one? new GT or CTS-V? Personally I hate buyng used on the off-chance stangfoeva is correct, then again most of the guys driving CTS-V's in my AO look like the sort where 0-60 is the most important stat and hitting 100 mph is an unbeleivable feat of speed.
IMO the chances of getting a ragged CTS-V are comparitively low. Does the CTS-V have the track option as well with the big brakes?

I will go with the Mustang but thought this would be a good poll/thread to post and see the responses.

Needs to be more Astony
why a new 2012 Mustang? why not a used 2011 at that time? At the same price I would take the CTS-V but the caddy is going to be more expensive so i would go used 2011 GT and add a few goodies like a supercharger.

My current lease doesn't expire until Feb 2011 so that is why I will be ordering a 2012 GT when the order banks open in November.

Plain and simple I don't like buying used cars....The only used cars I have bought was when I was 16-20 and just getting on my feet or still in HS. Now of course old school muscle and buying used is a different story.

Two completely different cars. Very tough call but the Mustang has a spirit all it's own. Just like I feel that the GTR has lost its soul that the R3x had, something feels a miss by the CTS-V. No matter what I still want one to have in the garage, just for a different kind of rocket! Though I'd still say Mustang, less to maintain, value is incredible, performance is fantastic. Just saw a CTS-V like this on the highway, still jaw dropping. Though I do the same when I see the new Mustangs.
