2008 Roush stage 2 vs. 2004 Cobra

Currently have a 2005 mustang gt that's almost paid off. By this time next year I will be looking to get either a 2003-2004 cobra or 2008-2009 stage 2 roush. I just Don't know what would be the best to get. Advice please!!

Why not keep the one you have, and start upgrading it?...

x10 ^ Especially if your only gonna get a stage 2. A stage 2 is only body and suspension mods. If your trying to upgrade and save money go with the stage 3 or really just upgrade your current car, which you can make way faster than the stage 3

a stage 2 kit would be less then a grand minus the bumpers and stuff. You could install a ford racing 550hp kit for less and have a better faster car.

Just build your car up similar to the Roush stage 2 or 3. No cobra!

How much does the 550hp kit usually run price wise?

$5800-6500 depending on year and parts needed. It made my 07 feel way more crazy then the gt500s ive been in.

Enjoy not having a payment for a while, and save that money for some cool/fun mods.

My vote is to keep the car and modify it. You know what you did with your mustang. I think we all know what people do with 03-04 terminators. I would like to own one but to find one that hasn't been beaten so hard I'm sure would be an adventure by it self.

If you're looking to get rid of your 05, sell it and get a 13' not a 4 or 10 year old car (one of which is already older than your present car). No brainer man.
