this is a decision only you can make in the end its a car you have to live and be happy with. I went back and forth on colors myself but kept going back to black, i kept on getting discouraged everytime i seen someone post how hard a black car is to keep clean etc. , but in the end if you want something nice and keep it nice you have to work on it so you can see in my sig what i went for. Good luck with your choice

I went back and forth with Torch and Black also...... In the end, I picked Torch Red, because I want to tint it and I think the dark tint on black looks too mafia, and the red shows the lines of the car better. Just keep looking at pix.... this site is a great source for them, and then sit on it for a few days. You will make the right choice, whatever it is. Color is a minor thing with this car. It is really hard to mess it up.

id say black. black goes AMAZINGLY NICE with the red leather. thats just my opinion. but the red is sweet. if u wanna stand out its the color to get. torch red is one of the signature colors for this car.

With out a doubt go with black. It really gets no better than Black with dark tinted windows with the red leather. I wish I were in it right now.
My only other color choice would be the mineral gray.

I have had both and I will tell you that they both look beautiful when clean and waxed. However, if you are real picky about every little speck of dirt and flaw, then go with TorchRed. Black is so hard to keep clean. It's just depends how badly you feel when your car isn't clean and shiney.

I too struggled with this dilemma.
Black or Torch?
I have had both colors over the years and I evaluated the pros and cons of both. Yes black is amazingly sharp. Very difficult to maintain. Torch red says, "Here I come". Black says, "Here I come to kick your ****"
Either way you can't go wrong. It all comes down to what you want.
I ended up with the TR, as that seems to be my favorite color looking at just the number of red cars I have had.
Do a search for "Orthoguy", he has black with light silver stripes. I have seen this car in person and it absolutely blew me away.

I prefer any color but black. I think red is a better choice. Look at the front end of these cars in both colors. The design is so much more apparent with colors that help distinguish the shape of the grille. The black tends to lose the shape of the grille, even though it's got a matte finish on glossy. The red really helps set off the black headlight bezels. I've considered nearly every color available, including the Torch Red, but black was eliminated from my list fairly early on. Good luck with your choice!

I was in your dilemma also, but I went with the Torch Red. The lines of the car are more apparent, it stays clean looking longer, and I can't stop staring at it...The torch red is such a beautiful color. If you look at a lot of black cars on the road (at least in Ohio) they look dull, even when they are clean. Snow and salt really does a number on black cars, IMO. I had a black Cougar, I know from experiance.

I also like black but went with the Torch Red because of the contrast. I like the way the grill is so pronounced on the red. You will likely get lots of predictable responses like this one. Bet none of them tell you anything you didn't already know! Good luck, either way, you'll love it.

Can not decide between torch red or black. I need help! What are the pros and cons?

If you're around PA, go w/ Red... if not, blacks okay.

With out a doubt go with Torch Red. It really gets no better than Torch Red with dark tinted windows and red leather. Much easier to keep clean and the paint job just glows. Truly Awesome. Good luck on your decision.
