****Edit, I was just informed it's a 2003 Thunderbird.**** (See, I know nothing about thunderbirds)

My friends dad seems kinda steamed that I just recently got my Bullitt, he keeps offering to race for $100.

So, who do you think would 1/4 mile race? He claims he's at 310 HP He says it's stock.

I'm running 4.10 rear gears, I've got a K&N Air filter installed, flowmaster mufflers, that's about it. NO drag radials on either car.

My friend says that thing weighs about 1,000 more than my car, so, what do you think?

Keep in mind, I know NOTHING about Thunderbirds.

310hp is not a stock number for the 03 t-bird
they are suppposed to be at 280hp

i dont think a t-bird could hold a candle to a bullitt my man. if he is stock he is making about 280 HP and runs about a 15 second quarter mile, your stang should run about a 14.5 bone stock, but with your mods you should do better than that.

take the bet, whup his hiney, and let us know how it went!!

You should be able to take the T-Bird without much trouble, that is unless he has some extra goodies and is hustling you for gas money

There was not such thing as 1998 Thunderbird. Thunderbird existed from 1955 until 1997 and from 2002 until now.

But those 1989-1997 Thunderbirds are not same as current one. They only had 205 hp from 4.6L V8 engine. Current one have 280 hp.

But Mustang still should be able to win.

Thanks for the replies. I wanted a second (And third, and fourth, and fifth) opinion but I was busy and didn't have time to think about it. I'll probally race him tomorrow. But, I wont take his money, seeing as how he's been a good guy to me.
