This may of been brought up before but it just amazed me when I noticed it. The stock rims on the new GTO look a lot like the new 2006 rims on the Mustang. Oh well~

Huh, you know I never would have noticed that unless you pointed that out. However, there are a few differences that make them dissimliar, but you are right about how they are very similiar.

I have noticed many Audi A4s here in the UK wearing a wheel quite close to the the fanblade but smaller. Here is an example from the UK Ebay site.

Given that the hub and the rims need to be connected, how many really different ways are there to design a wheel anyway?

You can always find similarities.

Since that is my car with the blades, I can tell you that the rims are only slightly similar. The fanblades are much nicer and don't look like those flower petal GTO rims.

I agree. You could problably find several 5-spoke wheels from several different brands that all look "similar". Big frikken deal!

Just someone from the GTO forums trying to start some trouble most likely.

The bulliets have 5 spokes too... so I guess they must be the same as well.

Instead of arguing whether or not the Fanblades and GTO wheels look the same, because they both look good, let's congratulate Pontiac on getting at least one thing right about that Cobalt...hmm...GTO.

Or the gas tank in the trunk?
