'06 GT vs Cadillac XLR

Okay, here's the back story, my boss at work is a huge Caddy guy, (he drives an XLR-V) and today we took in on trade a 2005 regular XLR which our salesman is thinking about buying for himself. He's a pretty cocky guy and swears it'll toast my GT, but I don't think so.

Pertinent facts:
My car is a 2006 GT 5-speed that is all stock except for 3.73 gears.

XLR is all stock except for heavy chrome 20 inch wheels. Engine is the 4.6 northstar w/ 6-speed auto, rated at 320 horse 310 ftlbs. They weigh upwards of 3800 pounds though, which is why I think I'd win.

I know that I followed a lady in an XLR getting on the freeway once and she took off pretty good so I tried to keep up and I had no problem staying with her shifting at around 4k, but I don't know if she was going flat out or not.

I'm hoping he buys it and we can go to the track to see what's what, but do you think he has a chance to beat me?

A 2011-2013 base model V6 Mustang against an 05 XLR would be a good drag race. Your GT would eat it for lunch. It's a low 14 second 1/4 mile car.

And the XLR handling is not so great either.

Here are the numbers (Close enough to the right years anyways).

Ford Mustang GT (2005)
0-60: 5.1 seconds
1/4 mile: 13.5 @ 103.6 mph
60-0 Braking: 125ft.
Slalom: 65.4mph
Figure Eight: 26.4 seconds
Average Figure Eight g: 0.69

Cadillac XLR (2004)
0-60: 6.0 seconds
1/4 mile: 14.2 @ 101.4 mph
60-0 Braking: 114ft.
Slalom: 64.0mph
Figure Eight: 27.1 seconds
Average Figure Eight g: 0.66
