I was surfing the net and came across this discussion that some import guys were talking about on their forum. It was talking about the Scion TC beating the V6 Mustang. :shock:

What's funny is they still give some props to our beloved automobile but at the same time slam it for being a domestic pieace of crap.

I would say one thing and add this artical provided by Stanger X as an agrument to what they discuss later in the forum post. I'll leave the article to explain my case.

Import HP miss-reporting

 

nevermind that the V6 stang has over twice the HP of the Scion TC, if you ever get the chance to drive one, anyone with half a brain or who has ever driven a real car would stop right there. It is the worse ride I have ever felt. It felt like it was going to fall apart at any second, was a rough unresponsive ride, and felt worse than an old rickity wooden coaster. The qaulity of craftsmenship inside and out is garbage and it shows, the problem with most people is that they have not experienced a good car, or a fast car. I have had several people get in my car after they say their Asian whatever and even Eurowhatever is real fast and nice, and suddenly change their mind, they are blown away with what you can get for under 30 grand, with "wow this is fast" and "it handles so well, we went through those turns so fast and it didnt feel like it, just stuck to the road, my car wouldve slid" and "its so nice inside" and on and on and on. The TC is a big POS, and that is not just because I am a stang guy, go drive the car. To me, I love my car, but its not fast enough, nor handles as well as I want it too, dont get me wrong it is great but unlike these other people I have driven faster better cars and want to achieve that with mine, the difference between the stang and the asian cars is that you can without having to gut the whole thing. But there is no point in arguing with a ricer, its like arguing with a liberal, if they had any common sense at all to understand your arguement, then they wouldnt be wrong to begin with, dont waste your energy.

 

They will always support their choice no matter what the situation, as he stated, best thing to do is to drop it.

 

meh, the Tc, while being the scion i hate the least, is still notihng compared to a 4.0 stang. at least, in my opinion. for a sohc motor, it does a great job, plus its torquey. in fact im hoping to buy one someday...

I don't go around telling people I smoked a Vette in my 05 V6 then try to argue the fact. Just posted the post to get a laugh not cause a hudge Import vs. Domestic debate.

 

I feel bad for alot of those guys who talk like they know what their saying and actually begin to beileve their BS is cold hard facts.
Oh well, let's just hope they don't try to become techs.

i think you are talking about the xA or xB.
The tC is a pretty good looking car, and is one of my options for a new car for later on
