I have been checking the ERL regularly and have been aware that I am scheduled to be built the week of Oct 3 2005. Since I knew this I did not bother to call and bug my dealer but today he finnaly called me. He told me what I already knew but he also gave me the Vin#. I ordered a 2006 Premiuim GT Satin Silver w/IUP, Active Anti Theft and Front Seat side mounted airbags. After I got the Vin # I tried to check on the order by calling the ERL with the Vin instead of the order number but found that to be nearly impossible since she cannot understand anything. So I went on the vin decoder on the ford fleet website and punched in my vin# and it says that it is a 2006 GT with all of my options and everything is right except for the engine. Instead of 4.6 V8 it is showing the V6 4.0 Engine. I think the engine spot number in the vin is the 8th posisition and for me it is the Letter H. Im not sure what to make of this since it says GT with the V6 engine. Is the ford fleet website wrong or is my Vin wrong? Could this be a problem? Why can't things just be simple :bang:

 

Do not worry frequently ERL shows the incorrect engine code. This has been seen before, H is a 4.6L 3V, N is a 4.0L engine. Once you car appears on oasis this will be corrected.
