According to the guys at Fang Performance you can order a mustang without a hood (saving $500-$700). Apparently they have done it.

I'm thinking about ordering a car and having it dropped shipped to the local Ford Dealer near Fang Performance where they can install their 70 Mach 1 style hood and shaker.

If this is possible, then is it possible to do the same thing with the trunk (they have a trunk with a ducktail built into it)?

I have searched far and wide and have never herd of a hood delete option or a trunk delete option.

 

Maybe their local dealer just knocks off a few hundred dollars and takes off and keeps the hood I'll ask them for clarification.

 

Wow.. I hope they arent running it around with plastic wrap on it.

 

I've been in the car business for 34 years and know of no manufacturer that will allow you to order a car with no hood.
