Additional $500 retail cash for 07 Mustang GT's with automatic

Ford has added an additional $500 retail cash on all 2007 Mustang GT's with automatic. for a total of $1000. This will be in effect from Nov. 17th 2006 through Jan. 2nd 2007.:nice:

Funny thing is Ford charges more to order an automatic. Sounds like they need to revise their mix of manuals and autos.

:( I wish they had a larger rebate for the manual... $500 is a mere pittance compared to the $5,000 cash rebate offered on the 2007 Grand Marquis!

I look at it as paying $200+ to buy an auto, because Ford issued a $500 rebate for auto/manual GTs on 10/3/06. They tacked on an additional $500, which doesn't fully cover the $730+ 5R55S option. :doh::jester:
