Wanted: Track and Autocross tire advice.

A fellow Autocrosser is selling 4 BFG R1 265/35ZR18, $400, new. What are you opinions on these tires?

I am thinking 18x8.5 Kazera rims from tire rack.

It is a good price for the tires and they are the spec tire on the Mustang FR500S race cars so I would think they would be a good tire.

Speaking of the FR500S, I just read that they are racing on 245's! Wonder why that width was chosen as the spec tire, instead of the more standard 275's?
