Tow Rings
Anyone rig up F/R tow rings for the track? Where at? Do they weld on or bolt-on?
The stock locations for towing are pretty lame....
Pics?

Yup. After an instructor pointed out to me that the stock locations are basically not accessible if you go off track (e.g. sand trap), I installed a set of the Multimatic rings that all the other S197's are running (FR500S, C, etc...). Give Multimatic a call to track down their guy who handles selling them--it was last year and I can't remember the contact info.
They offer two versions-- a bolt-on version and a weld-on version. ~$175 for the full set if I remember correctly. I didn't have a welder last year, so I bought the "bolt-on" version. Trust me, they are NOT a true bolt-on. Just get the weld-on version, remove your bumpers and take them to a welder. It'll be a 15 minute job for both bumpers.
I've attached a pic of when I was mounting them and a pic of the finished product. What I like is that the rear mount is completely covered by your license plate, and the front mount is barely noticable (well, if you are into car shows and stuff, that's a different story...). Once you get to the track, plates off, rings on, and you are ready to go.
Another possible option may be from Rennen Metal (http://www.rennenmetal.com/). Last I heard they were going to make a set just like the Multimatics for half the price. Probably worth giving them a call or emailing them.

Sorry, I hadn't checked here in a little while. I had mine installed by my cage builder. I will post up pics for you shortly. Mine are welded on by the way.
