I just got back from instructing a driver's school this weekend at Daytona, and I was using our new 05 GT as the instructor car. Wow... what an improvement Ford made with this chassis from a racing standpoint. The new car on street tires bone stock could easily hand our 1993 coupe it's lunch on track, given equal engines, and prepared like the GAC cars, or as we're going to prep ours, I can't imagine the difference we're about to see in the Mustang road racing arena.

Anyway, I have some pictures posted to my site, you can check them out by fiollowing the link. I'm hoping some photographers got shots of the car on track for me to add, but unfortunately, right now all I have are the static shots, since it's hard to drive, instruct, and take pictures all at once! The photos of the Miata's are of a couple of my students... one went on to win the race on Sunday afternoon!
