Pitpup on his way to The Glen!
Brian,
Not sure if The Glen is layed out like Lime Rock, but if there's a certain way to get into the pits, now would be the time to spill the beans, sir! I'm leaving at 5am tomorrow with an ETA of 10:30am.
I only wish I was bringing more support from TMS and GrabberOrange.net with me. My wife and I will have to do!
Good luck to all tomorrow...

Sorrry, didn't see this until it was too late . . . And I wasn't able to go again this race . . .
BUT, the #52 once again found its way on the podium!!!! 3rd place this time, and it makes 3 podiums in a row for the #52

I hear ya, Brian. Now would you care to fill us in on the finish? As I was walking away from the track, they were interviewing the #91 team as the 3rd place finishers. I figured rough driving? But then they reversed it? Grand-Am.Com shows the #52 in 3rd... I was standing on the pedestrian bridge for the white flag lap and saw the 'action' on the restart. Let's just say I saw concreted dust flying in the air as they started down the hill!
I was pleasantly surprised when they came around on the final lap and the #52 was STILL in 3rd. The #49 (Porsche) had to pit, haha!
Please fill us in! And... I have pics from The Glen if you need them, sir.
Would love to read THAT post!

I wasn't there, but the way I heard it, is a penalty was called on the #52 on the final lap because of the contact with the #49 Porsche. Supposedly the unserved penalty would have counted as 1:00 added to the final time for the 52 car. Our team filed a protest immediately after they learned of the penalty post-race, and Grand-Am agreed with the protest that the contact was not Kenny's fault, and was just a racing incident. So, the penalty was thrown out, and the #52 stayed on the podium.
