New best: 12.87 @ 110.31
I brought the 5.0 out to a private track day for the second time over the weekend and managed a new personal best.
60' 2.017
ET 12.87
MPH 110.31
My best 60' time on the day was a 1.970 on a 12.915 run (video below).
I am running an effectively bone stock Brembo car with 3.73 gears. The only mods are Steeda LCAs and FRPP sport mufflers. The LCAs seemed to help slightly off the line but wheel hop is still pretty bad on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. Overall traction is very hard to come by, so I'm giving up on running with a street tire anymore and will be picking up some 17 or 18" wheels and drag radials for next time.
Unlike last time I didn't run into any clutch sticking problems, which was nice. I did not attempt to power shift at all. Just quick shifts backing all the way out of the throttle. If/when I jump over to a Tri-Ax I may experiment with flat-footing it, but who knows.
Anyways, here's a video of my 12.915 @ 110.13 run.

Check it out in 1080p.
Any constructive comments are greatly appreciated. If anyone has experience with some nice DRs, let me know!

The G8 was pretty quick. He went on to run a best time of 10.80 or something like that. Lots of quick cars out there... GTRs, GT2s, R8 V10, C63 AMGs, etc. I was the second to slowest car there.

I have tried Falken Azenis 615 they gripped real good drove on them for almost a year but I drive easy most of the time. My best 60 ft was 2.0.
It's not easy hooking on fwd.
What ever tire you go with go on TireRack.com and read peoples reviews of the tire.
