New to AutoX and this section

Just wanted to introduce myself in this section of the forums. I'll admit, I was one of the people that didn't even know this was here until recently. A friend with an Sti talked me into going to my first two AutoX events locally the last two Sundays and it's safe to say: I'm hooked. I'm already learning a ton between some of the guys at the events, my buddy, and reading the old posts here.

My car is an '07 GT/CS, manual transmission with just the 3.31 gears in the rear. "Performance" mods so far are limited to Hooker Aerochamber axlebacks, Pypes H-pipe w/ high flow cats, Steeda CAI, and a Steeda Tri-Ax waiting to be installed.

I've run in FS so far and would like to stay there until I get a lot more seat time. The only future mod that I plan on making in the meantime are a set of racing dedicated wheels and tires to beat on rather than my polished bullitts and bfg's. Not sure if I should (or could) try to downsize to 17" to make tires a little more affordable or hope I can get lucky and pick up some gt500 wheels cheap and gain some width.

The modifications you already have put you in either ESP or STX depending on whether you run street tires or R-comps. I've been playing around in STX with my Mustangs this year, we usually have 15-20 people in STX for local events, and my co-driver and I have been finishing near the top in my Bullitt (except this past weekend in the rain)
