Mustang on SWC GT pole!
Actually, the race has already been run, but I'm trying to avoid the results until they show it on Speed next Friday at noon.
Joey Scarallo lunched a motor in his 'Vette during qualifying and oiled down the track, so the grid was set by practice times. Brandon Davis is on pole with the ACS Mustang Cobra. Randy Pobst is starting alongside him in his Porsche. Brandon's a really aggressive driver, but Randy has years of experience. Should make for a good show.

Wow, what a cluster. Rain races can be fun, but a total monsoon, not so much. Brandon did a good job just to keep it on track, and not get collected in anyone else's mess.(Including his dad's) No shame in coming in 4th behind Pobst, Pilgrim, and Galati in the wet.

I almost couldnt watch that race, those drivers probably needed to change their shorts after the race. Sebrings a tough enough place to go anyway, with all the terrain changes, I cant even imagine driving on it in rain conditions.

I'm still undecided about Detroit. I'm not a big fan of street races, but it is right up the road from me, and a great lineup of racing series. I may end up going, especially if Marlboro's handing out free tickets.
