Was looking around and found some video of the "old" Fox Mustangs that raced in the DTM (German Touring Car Masters). I love these two Foxes!!

Cool stuff. I didn't realize that Mustangs ran in DTM. It's been Mercedes, Audi, and formerly Opel for as long as I've been paying attention to it.

I ran across them a few years while looking for scale models. Minichamps has 1/43 scale of both. Watching DTM on SPEED got my interest flowing again . . . . so I just did a little searching!

You ever hear or seen more of a Mondeo DTM? I can't find out too much about it . . .

Hmmmm... I've never seen that one. Is that just a show car, or a new car for next season? Current DTM cars are full tube-frames, so a V-8 rwd Mondeo isn't out of the question. I wonder what it's got under the hood. If memory serves, the DTM Opels actually ran a version of the old IRL Aurora engine.

 

Everything I've found online points to the DTM Mondeo being a fantasy car on rFactor. Except for the 2 pictures of what appears to be a real car. I'm guessing it's a show car.

 

That's about the same as I found as well. I will have to keep an eye of for any information. It is a ~2003-2005 body style so maybe I can try and dig a little deeper. Those rfactor Mondeos are pretty darn cool too!

 

Looks like a V8star car to me that all I know.

When I had my foxbody I tried to find that dtm bodykit or one like it. No such look.
