Bring it on boys!! I think I could get to where I like this GS racing stuff. I wonder if there is some room for a new wheel in this series? Maybe say a new forged Mag wheel. Say from the Original Mag Racing Wheel Manufacture. I might be able to happen.

 

GS racing rocks. I'm hoping that this year they have more "split races" than last year; there are just too many cars on the track otherwise with ST and GS sharing track time. It'd hard for me to get enthused about Fusions racing against Camrys and other NASCAR vehicles, but I love watching the Mustangs go at it. The series will be at Barber Motorsports Park July 28-30. Let me know if you want to come.

The Multimatic entry is a "gift" by Ford to Sebastien Bourdais for winning Champ Car this last season. It seems that Sebastien has chosen his LeMans veteran Father, Patrick Bourdais to join him as his co-driver.

I think I'm going to have the Steeda Q and the SEMA car at the show. Trying to get info on possibly displaying at the show. I’m an MCA Member just have never displayed as a manufacture at an MCA show.

Did you see the Barrett-Jackson Edition FR500C sell for $187,000? Seems a little much to me--the winner could've gotten a white one for $125,000 and painted it himself and saved $62,000 plus Barrett-Jackson's 8%. Anyway, do you know if that car will be in competition this season?

I checked SPEED's schedule for the next 5 weeks, and no Grand Am Cup is listed. I hope it's not going the way of Dakar, WRC, ETCC, and JGTC coverage on SPEED, but I wouldn't put it past them to just show reruns of Texas Hardtails instead.

 

SPEED will air Cup races, but their schedule isn't set yet.

 

I'm crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath.

 

Saturday the 28th from 12pm-6pm will be the Rolex coverage.....

We were walking through the pits taking pictures and saw Fernando Scattolin standing by his car and asked him if i could take some pictures. He was really cool and let me in their garage and walk around his car.
