hopefully it fares better than the other mustang entries that have run in GT (I've remembered at least 4)

I wonder what part of the Boss 302 is even left in that thing? I saw that thing at the Rolex 24 testing and it sounded like a NASCAR race car.

Color scheme looks retarded IMO, I would have much rather seen an original scheme, but that's just me.

Yep that's not a Boss LS. Regardless I hope it does well and can be competitive with the Porsche's, Ferrari's, and Audi's this season.

That's a GT class car the sealed Boss motors are in the GS class.

It's a Boss, and I think it's great that there's a Boss in the GT class.

It's tough to be competitive right out of the box, especially against cars with several seasons of development already in the books. I'm hoping they have a succesful season and reach whatever goals they have for this year.

It could be the same motor but the specs for that class probably allow for more modifications and clearly the exhaust is different. I think the GT class are purpose built race cars where the GS (and ST) class is based on production cars.

Weight: 2650 lbs or 2756 with DP transaxle. 2575 with solid axle.
Tire size: 305/650R18 front 325/680R18 rear.
5.0 Ford Performance "cammer" engine # M-6007-GT50 – or Boss 302 Engine Part #M-6007-M50B with Roush Yates Racing Engines camshaft in fixed position with restrictor.
For Boss 302 Engine Only: 5-speed transmission – max 7000 RPM, 4 speed transmission – max 7500 RPM
Must use exhaust as supplied with engine.
Maximum front Brake rotor Diameter .355mm
Brake pad & caliper as with 330mm Rotor
Approved Modifications:
Front spark plug allowed to be 3 inches behind front spindle C/L

There has onlt been one Mustang that has run in the GT class in the last few years and it was run by Blackforest.
