The #61 Roush Performance team, had the 2013 body work on the car when they showed up for testing in early Jan....but Grand Am made them take it off and put the old body work back on for testing. Discussions went on with Roush/Ford and Grand Am between the testing dates and the race dates, with Grand Am finally approving the change to the 2013 body panels. So practice before the race and the actual race were the first chance the Roush team had, to actually have the car on the track and figure out the slight handling differences between the body styles of the different year models.
