Great video and it looked like your were hauling a$$ pretty good! If you have a manual trans were you in 2nd or 3rd gear during the run? I didn't hear you shift.

On this course I was able to leave it in 2nd for the whole run.

Looks like you had a good run - kept the tail from getting way out. Are you shuffle-steering or using a different method?

Ya, it was a pretty sweet run. My best run of the day was actually half a second faster...wish I had a video of that one!

I don't do much shuffle-steering...just try to keep my hands planted at 10 and 2 as much as possible and cross over my arms on sharper bends.

How much prep do you have in the car? All I have so far is some Nitto NT-01s (for longevity sake), some stock upgrades, and SLP loudmouths.

I may have a front ARB on before the divisional in a few weeks but I doubt it.

I'll try to remember to get the video camera out for the event. I'm winning all of my local races, hopefully I will do well against all of the South East Divisional drivers.

Oh yeah I got the crashbolts done too. L-1.7 R-2.0

How are those V710s working out for ya, do they get greasy on the heavy car. I haven't heard a lot of good from the guys trying out the A6s so I am going to probably get some Kumhos before next year.

The V710s are great! A big improvement over the 245 victoracers I ran last year. I am really happy with their performance.

Yes they are a great tire. My first season with them too.

Loved the video, thanks for posting. I need to get my girlfriend to take some video of my driving.

Let me know how that front sway bar works out! I'm thinking about trying one. I want my car to do this:

I'm installing it tonight or tomorrow and will be running it this weekend at the divisional in Huntsville.

It worked out pretty well, I think it made a decent difference with body roll, at first it felt like the rearend was kinda squatting to the outside on turns but I must not notice it anymore.

I was right at 2 seconds off the pace on my good day of the other FS drivers at the event who were competing for the SEDIV championship and usually make their way to Nationals, they were on V710s vs my old Nittos.

Kinda loud driving around cause whenever you hit a single wheel bump it makes a clunking noise, I checked everything and there are no clearance issues so I am pretty sure it's just the harder bushings and stuff.

Hopefully I'll have some shocks and V710s to go with the bar by next year.

I noticed the same thing with my FRPP(Eibach) bars. Checked and retorqued everything, but it's still there. I was beginning to think it might be my coilover setup.

For those installing Front ARBs keep an eye on the tightness of the bolts that connect the ARB to the control arm. I found mine had backed off since installing it a few months ago and checked because of increased noise and rattling from the front end.

Hopefully I will be getting some of the new Konis this winter to go along with the bar and I will be headed to most of the SEDIV events next year.
