Autocross. Short vid of my car on track
Yes it was wet but I had a blast.
Finally popped my autocrossing cherry
My first run I went with an instructor in the car and I had a 112-second time.
After that I went by myself and lowered the time to 100.9 sec
Ended up with a best time of 92.79 and got 5th place in the Novice class for the day
The second vid is part of the 92.79 run, left-foot-braking, trying to turn before the cone, with the suspension softened .... all pointers given to me from other drivers.

Nice! Challenging in the rain... what T/C setting did you use? Not much roll with your suspension setup huh? What exhaust are you using too? Sounds really good...
So when's your next one? Next step is a track day...

The suspension, I started with it almost fully stiff, just about a 1/4-turn soft, and I had no body roll and felt great on the track, not at all bouncy like it does on the street in that setting.
One of the other drivers, a more seasoned guy that used to also do rallying and now races an S2000 in Autocross, mentioned that some body roll is actually preferred, I went full soft then a 1/4-turn toward stiff for the last 3 runs and it felt squishier but still in control.
I really wanted to do one more run so bad, I was highly disappointed to hear we were done after 4 afternoon runs, when we did 5 in the morning and the original promo said there'd be 10 total.
Exhaust is '11-'12 GT500 mufflers with resonators deleted, replaced by welded-in 3" pipes. I love the set-up and not planning to change it anytime soon, especially after hearing it in these videos, lol.
Next autocross day? Whenever I can, hopefully this year
