Looks like a lot of carbon fiber to keep the weight down.

Thanks!!! That is what I'm talking about. I believe that I had a physical reaction to that car. But it might have been the engine.

Be a shame to paint it.

Guess I'm going to have to buy a lottery ticket or two.

And go Tags!

Wouldn't it be nice if those CF bodyparts; hood, fenders, trunklid, roof panel, and (maybe) the doors were available through the Ford Racing Catalog? Better paint them, of course!

-Say, since the GT500 is now in production, could they switch from the Cammer to a version based off of the Ford GT's engine (sans SC), since the GT500's engine seems more closely related - has the same displacement/heads?

I wonder when those Cabon Fiber body panels will be available from the Aftermarket?

That Gt500 really looks like a sore thumb, in a good way, only pony car in a division full of exotics .

Brad, don't they have a sticker that says it's a GT500. I still have doubts, must be all that carbon fiber

I also think they should have kept the snakes and the "S-H-E-L-B-Y" letters

They're officially calling it a Cobra GT, though it wears the GT500 hood and front fascia.

The hood up picture doesn't show the strut tower of the stock chassis. Does it have a tube frame front end?
