Hi guys, I'm new to posting in these forums, but have been around for a while at corner-carvers, and other sites. My site has been linked back to Brad's for quite a long time, and I figured I'd better post something worthwhile for my first jump in! Anyway, I was at Daytona this weekend with Ford Racing, and got some great shots of the first two factory racers being tested on the highbanks of Daytona. You can check out a few of the shots by following the link below to my website. I've got about 100 more, but can't post them all at this time. Enjoy!

BTW, there's a couple shots of a Ferrari that is about 1.5 feet shorter than it's supposed to be... ouch!

Why was this moved?

The featured photos are of the 2005 Mustang race car both the white with blue stripes and the orange car.

Thanks for the pics. The blue & white car is beautiful. Would that be along the lines of "Boy Racer"?

That car IS boy racer. That was chassis #1. The butterscotch car is #2, and the roller-in-white is #3. There are more where they came from, just bring a checkbook.

V10-

I moved because the '05 are race related and wanted the thread to 'stand out' in the Ford & Mustang Motorsport section and not get lost or burried in the '05 section with all the other threads. I figured this '05 race related topic would stay on top of the Motorsport section longer than in the normal '05 forum.

Thanks for the pics

(And thanks to Evil Capri--if Jason hadn't moved it, I would have never found in the 05 section. More posts there than I have time to read.)

K, well I'm still learning my way around these forums, so I don't know where the best place to post always is...yet. So no problem in moving it to a more appropriate spot. Anyway, I haven't heard back from my editor yet (I write for a major Mustang magazine) so.... tonight I'll be adding a bunch more shots of the cars to the website. Still have to keep it relatively low-res since I don't have a high-speed connection to upload with, but hey... not everyone can d/l 6Mb pictures either, right?

No problem. And since everyone seemed to like them, I just added the next 8-10. Now that I'm learning to use Photoshop for compression, I can still get some nice quality in a small file. All of the shots that I'm posting are cropped a bunch, to help further... too bad because the background makes the shot in a few pictures I have that aren't up. Anyway, if I don't get a green light soon on an article, I'll post the majority of the rest that don't contain "proprietary" info in them (ie: suspension close-ups, etc)

Later.

You pics are absolutely the best! I watched The Making of Boy Racer on Speed. It really made me wish I had chosen a white car again. That car is breathtaking.

I am thinking they are Fikse racing wheels, but I can't remember where I saw the logo on them over the weekend. Fikse's are high end racing wheels, normally 3 piece modular design, FWIW.

HTH.
