06 GT, Mid 12's, About $1500 spent - Videos
Went to Houston Raceway park last night in search of 12's. My goal was a 12.85. The temp was 50*, and the pressure was about 30.10, and my weight was 3650 lbs. I have NO suspention mods.
JLT + Bamachips Tune - $550
Summitracing UDP - $150
OBX LT + O/R H - $480
Total - $1180
DR - $500
Grand Total - $1680
First run was a 12.83 at 107.97! 1.896 60ft, bogged launch, shifted at 6000 rpm. Ran a mean "Hemi" ram.

Second run, 12.94 at 107.78, 2.017 60ft, bogged launch shifted at 6500 rpm.

Third run, 12.684 at 107.77!! 1.852 60ft, shifted at 6500 rpm, at the launch I reved up higher than I wanted so had to let off then the light went green as I was rereving to my launch rpm, so if I didn't feel rushed I could have done better. Ran against an auto S197 with a Superchips, 4.10's and 100 octane.

Fourth run, 12.71 at 107.65, 1.875 60ft, shifted at 6500 rpm. The black S197 I ran had a nonintercooled Paxton blower.

I guess if nobody checks this out I will post it in the S197 mods section to show what min. mods can get you.

For some reason putting the vids on photobucket they are not as crisp as the ones directly on my computer...He ran a 13.321 @ 104.35 or 104.95, the 3/9 was hard to make out. If I got ahold of that 'Hemi' truck on the street I would be dust, I think he had his street tires on. With my stock 235 BFG's I run a 13.5-13.8 on the street with the tailend swinging side to side (according to the G-Tech).
