Looking to put my GT away for the winter. Those 5 weeks went by fast.

Other than cleaning it and putting Sta-Bil in the gas what should I be doing? I was also going to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Or should I hook up a battery tender? There was a PDF checklist on here a couple of months ago, but I can't find it now since the forums have been changed.

Guess I'll have to wait another 5 months to drive it.

 

I sleep next to mine so it doesn't get lonely.

Can't you just drive it like once a week? Or you looking to de-list it from your insurance? PA would require you to put it on blocks and send the tags in before you can totally take it off.

 

Nope, not taking it off my insurance. Just don't want to drive it in the winter. Roads get salted and sloppy during an average winter. Not to mention all of the cinders (think small pebbles all over the road for those of you who haven't driven in the snow) Heck, when I see rain clouds now I'm heading back to the barn. I don't even want to drive it on a rain covered road.
