What is the best way to store your Mustang for the Winter?

Should you pull the battery out? Should you put it up on jackstands? Should you put a tarp underneith? Should you start it every few weeks? .........what the right way to store a car in the Winter? Warm weather people I hate you........this is not for you......

I would leave the battery in, but connect it to a battery tender.
Change oil before you store it.
No starting until spring.
I wouldn't use jackstands, the springs are not meant to be unloaded and dangling for a long time. That could cause issues I think.

You will find several topics on this in the car car forum. Some people remove the battery, some just connect a battery tender to it. Some raise the car on stands and remove the rims/tires, others just park on pieces of carpet. It all depends on where you will be storing the car and for how long.

Why not start it? I took mine for a dive today, fist time since November 1, and prolly the last time until Spring. I like to start it once a Month and let it run for at least until it comes up to temp...I have not done that this year though

If you do start it, make sure it runs for at least 20 minutes, not just until the temp. gauge gets to normal. The oil temperature takes a lot longer to get up to operating temp. than coolant temp, which is what the gauge reads. Oil can take up to 20 minutes to get up to temp, especially if just idling.

If the oil doesn't get up to operating temp, it will not have the chance to evaporate water and condensation in the oil. Therefore it will sit in the engine and potentially rust parts while it sits for the next few weeks.
