What all do I need to keep my car in tip top shape
What all do I need to keep my car in tip top shape
Question seems noobish because it is! Right now my "set-up" for my current black car(which will be gone this week) is the once a year nu finish stuff which I think is awesome and the meguiars clay car, and some tire shine spray that is pretty good. Oh and rain-x invisible glass. I have cloth on this car and never owned any leather cars until now (saddle leather) so any suggestions for upkeep and how often to treat it or spray it and what to get would be awesome!
We have hard water in florida and I'm wondering if that will be a problem or if there's anything I can get to make it better? I also dry my cars with old towels and stuff but should I get microfiber towels or what? I'm gonna keep this car for a LOOONG time unless I get rich randomly and even then I would keep it haha so I want it to last so any help on what soaps and stuff to get would be great
Yes this is a wall of text sorry :/
OH and I did read some stuff but it seems like no one really sides towards anything

Older towels are good for random tasks in the garage, but if you are stocking up and want to care for your baby for a long time , what's another 10-20 buck on a good set of microfiber towels?
Here's some great links to how to's and tips...

I've had a few buddies who work detailing new cars at dealerships and they say that its quantity over quality and it's a separate company not really the dealer itself so I'm gonna tell my salesman to not touch my car or take any plastic off and I will do it all myself, that's why I needed some extra pointers.
