Wax before Storage?

I have had my car since September 1st, I am almost ready to put her in storage starting Nov 1st. I am wondering I am ordering a car cover from KC but should I also wax/clay bar the car before putting her in for the winter?

Wouldn't be a bad idea.. Moisture and "stuff" would wreck havoc on the paint if left unprotected / un-cleaned for months.. That's what I'm planning on doing..
