Tree sap

I parked too close to an olive tree yesterday. My freshly clayed and waxed 2014 has fine droplets of sap all over it. It feels like sandpaper. What the best method to clean something like this? Clay bar again, WD40, something else?

Thanks,
Derek

Try isopropyl alcohhol, but you will need to rewax as the IPA will strip the wax.

Be careful with isopropyl alcohol and other high-octane cleaners.

Consider using a clay bar. This will mechanically remove the tree sap mist - no heavy cleaners required.

The friction of rubbing the bar against the surface combined with the abrasives in the clay bar removes bonded contaminants (tree sap, paint overspray, bugs, tar, etc).
