Timing chain rebuild please help

Hi I'm super new to the car world and I'm trying to replace my timing chain. I bought some cam positioning tools but I can't seem to get them to fit anywhere it says its for a96 4.6 liter engine but they don't fit on anything. My question is, is there anything else I can use to hold the cams still so I can replace the chain and all that? -Thanks jamie

on the cams to hold them in place. Not the best way to do it but it works. I would advise against you doing this by yourself if you don't have any experience. Find a friend to help you
