I live in Louisiana so no need to store her. I love driving my stang, so I know I would go crazy if I couldn't drive her. :drive:

No need to do that here. Recently gave my car two wax jobs and heading out to a Mustang show this Saturday. Feel sorry for all you guys and gals that have to store your car for the winter. I probably would do that if I lived in an area that had snow and ice.

I verified here in Ohio that even with a lean you can store your vehicle and have storage coverage. The car is covered as long as it is not on the road. Think it runs about $10.00 a month.

You just call the agent tell him/her to store it. It stays there until you call to take it out.

That is what I'll do.

If there is salt on the roads, the Mustang stays in the corral.

Mine is freshly waxed and under cover for the winter. My brother in law is my insurance agent (Allstate). I just call him and tell him to put the car "in suspension" which means that if the house burns down, the car is covered. It cuts the insurance on the Mustang by roughly 80%.

Definately the way to go if you're storing your car for several months.

Mine's a daily driver, but it'll be staying in the garage on days it snows/salty roads etc. There are enough good driving days during winter here that storing isn't really necessary to me.

I'm jelaous of everyone who gets to drive their Mustangs year-round.

The amount of salt they use on the roads in the Toronto area is absurd. I am even more worried about an idiot rear-ending me in this weather. My mustang is getting cleaned up today and its sitting until the salt gets off the roads. I managed to put only 4700miles on it in the 5 months i've been driving it.

Steve I'll trade you.... I've got 2 feet of snow at my house right now...
I hate lake effect snow.

Stacy,
I'm going to be getting some goodies for the car this winter too. Starting with a X2 and CAI. The only problem is there is never enough money

Gordon,

No matter how bad the weather is in Toronto, we always seem to get it better than anywhere else in the local area.

At least I have time to give her one last wash and throw some fuel stabilizer in the tank.

I'm driving mine every day. Had her since October '04 and haven't stopped driving her since. Only 1-2 days last winter that I didn't drive her. Wanted to make sure that she could handle the winter weather. So, I'll be driving her again this winter. Over 31,000 miles since I got her.
