Spider webs in paint?
Have my DIB. Gave it its first bath with ONR. Came out nice but still can see some spider webs in the paint. Is there anything that will get rid of these? Does a swirl remover work? Also what is a good cleaner to use on the paint?

You might be able to fix it by doing a little polishing. If it's not too bad or deep of scratching, you can try some hand polishing products that are very quick and easy. If it's really bad and deep scratching, then you might need some machine polishing done to get it completely out. Check out some of the videos on Adams Polishes website to determine if thats what you need. Pay particular attention to the hand polishing video, Flex/Porter Cable machine polishing vid, and the scratch removal vid.

This may or may not be very helpful, but FromZto5 seems to be the resident detailing specialist... I'd send him a PM, if he doesn't respond to this thread first lol

Meguiars swirl remover and a good dp polisher. Then a coat of mirror glaze, a synthetic wax and then a layer or two of carnuba. I had swirls on my 12. By the time I was done with it, it looked like a mirror.

You probably have some light swirls from the dealer washing it. Now, you're gonna have to spend some time to get them out. I'd suggest claying the whole car, then using a light polish, such as the Meguiar's DA correction system, to remove them. You can do it by hand, but you're going to have a tough time getting consistent results on every panel. I'd suggest you spend the money and pick up a DA (dual action) polisher. You can use it to apply wax/sealants as well and it speeds up the time considerably.
