welp, i havent had my '06 beauty for even a week yet and some donkey named jack has scratched the bumper... at the grocery store this morning, theres a nice abrasion on the back driver's side bumper... oh well... =(

Question... some friends of mine recommended Service King as a place that does a nice job... I want it to be fixed correctly... should i take it to the service shop at a dealer or would Service King/MAACO do just as good of a job?

From my experience, I'd avoid Maaco, or anyplace like it. They're cheaper for a reason - I had a bad repair done at one. Find a good bodyshop, have them take it off the car and fix it. Good luck.

Professional's only. Thats my opinion Maaco repainted my friends car once and you could see the old paint color through it in some spots, and some of the paint could be chipped off just by rubbing it. Go to a professional you thank your self for it.

I got 2 estimates from some bodyshops around here for $480 and $410... thats way more than I expected, but I guess its worth the price to get my baby back to being pristine again..

If you caught the dumb SOB and they'd pay I'd go to the Ford dealer as they can get factory parts and at least if they muck it they got the backing to get it proper thats what I did when a gal let her buggy get my door , dang I should went for whiplash

I guess that I work for the IRISH the luck go's with my job as in I got her. cost them $ 500.00 poor gal , me for one could just mot Do that sort of thing to my fellow human " Yep I have a Heart " so I get real man when I see them do it to some one and if they try to run , well lets say I will take the time to follow descreatly and provide all info to the people that need it !
