Remedy for decklid scratches?

Scratched my decklid panel when hand washing even though I watered her down good first and was using usual precautions (i.e. microfiber mitt, etc). Just noticed it in bright sunlight today, though someone less aware would probably not. Must have been dirt/sand particles. I've tried Meguiar's Scratch X and Turtle Wax Swirl Remover...not sure if the viscosity or strength of these products is right for the composite-like decklid panel. They didn't do the job. If an answer to this has been posted elsewhere, my apologies--did a search and found zilch. Has anyone had a similar experience?

A nice machine buff with Maguire's #7 should do the trick. Follow it up with a nice wax and you'll be all set, I prefer the Surf City Garage products:

Thanks. I'm talking about the black decal on the panel--maybe there's nothing to do but do away with the decal and paint the thing. No one else seen this on their Boss?

picture of the area?

if it's a decal there's not much you can do - if it's on paint, a scratch remover should work for a minor scratch, but you do have to put some muscle on it

Like he said above if it is a decal then there is nothign to do about it. You can either take it off or replace it.

Appreciate your responses guys. Guess I'll see what I can do and will post a pic if necessary.
