they have a specific glass polisher, I've never used it

I wouldn't use a polish like that on glass... especially on your windshield.

The gentleman who sold it to me said a coat of Z2 on the plastic lenses really brings them out... it makes quite a difference on my car

Yes, by all means use Zaino on your glass, chrome etc. Any hard non porous surface is perfect for Zaino. You won't need Rain X with Z2 on your glass either.

Thanks for the tip! Bug guts always wipe right off the Zaino'd sheetmetal, but the windshield has always been more difficult.
