Hello everyone!

Is getting the Porter Cable 7424 Polisher a good idea for someone that has no experience with such a tool? The reason I ask is I sure don't want to harm the paint by overdoing it. Any thoughts?

I didn't have any experience when I bought mine. Just make sure you are careful and read the instructions for the polisher and the polish you are using. A good tip for beginners is to keep the area you are polishing wet. That way you will not overheat the area and burn the paint. Don't work on a section larger than 2ftx2ft at a time and take your time.
