Two question:

1 - It comes with a pad. Can I use to apply wax to a vehicle, or do I need another pad? It's not for my mustang, it's on a friends car. Can I wax with the standard pad w/o harm?

2 - For those of you with this machine, I just got mine and it's extremely noisy. The rotating piece almost sounds like it needs some kind of lubricant, but doesn't have it. Ideas?

I use the orange and white pads for polishes and the gray pad for glaze application. I actually apply wax by hand and buff off by hand.
check out svtperformance.com, they have a great detailing section on their forum with a lot of knowlege to pass around.
