My friend just sent me this picture of his 2015 Sonata that looks like it got scuffed by a white car door. Most of the scuff is on the plastic, what product would you guys suggest to try to remove this?

I dunno. If it we me I'd try a non scratch dish pad with some soap and go really easy on it so I don't scratch the plastic. Maybe a tiny bit of bug tar but I'd be afraid that it will discolor the black. I would test either somewhere it wont matter first. I'm sure someone with more experience than me will chime in at some point.

Try using Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner or a good compound like Megs M105 Ultra Cut.

 

Did you try a eraser Steadtler Marc Plastic? It costs 3 bucks and it works very wells for getting rid of wax stain on plastic. I dunno for your scuff, but it is Worth trying if your kid has one in its school supply.
