I'm looking for an outdoor cover for my 2021 mach 1 (low wing), as I stupidly ordered the original mustang one thinking it was an outdoor cover (it states it resists snow, rain, etc on the ford site... )
Any suggestions? I live in an area where it snows A LOT, yet don't have a garage/carport.
(sorry if this is in the wrong sub)
Not sure if you can get these shipped over there, but Cover King makes custom fit covers. I am not sure about Ford covers, but I know my Roush cover was made by them. Fits very nice. I have the Silverguard cover. They have various levels of strength and protection. Scroll down and you can see a brief description of their options…
That looks really good - did you ask for / pay extra for the printing or was it done by default? The ones I see on their site all say carcover silk-screened...
Ended up ordering the "original" ford part one, which, based on the description I'm pretty confident is made by covercraft. $300 bucks later, I'm hoping to get it in the next 2-3 weeks... will report back when it arrives.
Sadly, the place I ordered from (fordpartsgiant) cancelled my order as they couldn't get a hold of the cover from Ford. Cr@p.
Not sure what to do now, I spoke to my local dealer, who said they can get it - but cost is ~800 bucks, which is insane given that I can find it online for 300.
You might try Fords Parts online order system. I see that some of the dealers in other areas of the US have covers available, not sure about the Mach 1 cover. Tasca and maybe other major parts dealers look to have Ford covers available as well. Also maybe you can go direct to Cover Craft and get the Ford version.
