Question: Do you have to use Dawn or can you use another brand of detergent?

any dish soap does the same thing. They break down any oils or waxes in the paint.

So why does everyone say Dawn like it's the only recommended brand? What about Palmolive or Ajax?

Because its what is listed in the directions they received with their kit so people just go with that....

Dawn has been used for years. Some other ones on the market contain really harsh cleaning agents that can actually damage the paint surface. Stick with Dawn. It's less than a buck and will last you forever considering you only need to use it once

Once the car is cleaned and prepared, and after applying a few coats of Zaino, it looks like glass. Each subsequent coat is easier to apply than the last and the Z6 detailing spray helps keep contaminents off between washes. Also cuts down on the frequency to clay.

My redfire 05 Mustang is used as a show car with ten layers of Zaino and a layer of their sealer. Zaino has seen her and requested pics, not sure fo they used them yet tho.

This photo is showing three layers and one layer of sealer.

Would be happy to post more pics of examples of their Polish if you like.
