My Zaino Treatment

Hey,

This is the procedure I am trying this time.
1. Dawn dishwashing soap.
2. Z-7 Show Car Wash
3. Z-AIO w/ZFX
4. Z-8 Grand Finale
5. Z-2 w/ZFX
6. Z-6 Gloss Enhancer
7. Z-CS

A little of everything....
Pictures coming.

I heard from guys at carshows that Z-8 is difficult to wipe clean, always leaving some kind of haze.

Never tried it myself, but I'll just stick with the tried and true Z-6.

I don't use Zaino, but I would use the Z-8 as a last step product. I would use the Z-6 where you use Z-8 and visa versa. I could be wrong, but I think you could switch up the CS and Z-8 at the end then.

I've never had a problem with Z8 (colder climate than yours though).
If it drys too quickly (in heat) it could cause a haze.
I use Z6 for normal cleaning and Z8 for the best look.
I would use the Z8 as the step before the Z-CS and the Z6 (or Z8) before the Z2.

For 3 days, wouldn't you rather be driving it than killing yourself over it. I know Zanio and Classy are the best out there. But I'm old. Meguires NXT for me. One morning and cruising. Bless you, now get some rest. Sounds like you'll need it for all those steps.

I've never had problems with Z-8 either. I use it all the time. I even stopped using Z-6 completely.

Step 4: Use Z-6
After Z-CS, use Z-8 (as the name implies: Grand Finale)

Since Bill is showing off...

I have the Z-CS too, but only used it once. For $30 a bottle, you figure I'd use it more often.

I had the hazing problem with z-8. Then I read somewhere that you could dilute it with water... No more haze. I diluted it with 1/3 water.

I Zainoed mine a couple of weeks ago -- looked beautiful. Tonight, was a little bored, went out to the garage, removed the cover, added another coat of Z6 just to shine up my last 3 coats of Z2 w/ zfx and then put on two more coats of RaggTopp. She looks fine. Too bad it is going to rain tomorrow!!!

I really thought that the Zaino was easy to use.

I did Dawn, Z7, Z2 / zfx x3 then Z6, then Zaino Tire Gloss and leather care. Took the afternoon. Less effort than traditional carnuba -- better results!!

My car will be here soon and i'd like to give Zaino a try. What steps would you guys suggest for a new Candy Apple Red?

I just Zainoed my 2008 Candy apple red GT/CS.I used the Z-2 Pro ,with the ZFX Flash cure system[ you can put 3 coats on in 24hrs.]Follow the directions carefully. The main thing is to use Dawn to wash the car first. This removes any wax or polish that may be on there. You never know what they do to a new car at the dealeship.I waxed mine the day I got it with P21S polish and thought it looked pretty good. But when a friend of mine sent me a new car warming gift of Zaino . I stripped that stuff off and man what a big difference.Zaino really brought that Candy color alive.it's hard to look at it in the bright Orlando sunshine.Use the Z-6 gloss enhancer to keep it looking great.
