Works pretty well. Have used it a couple of times on our cars.

do you really have to rub it in, or is it a light touch thing?

You have to rub it in - work it into the paint/scratch.

They have another product also - ScratchX - works well on scratched (or hazy) plastic (head lights, etc).

I think you mean PlasticX.

I was never that impressed with ScratchX. Does a decent job for a hand applied product, nothing special.

I feel the same way. I've used it on a few cars, and it never did anything significant. Anyone know of a light scratch remover that really does work?

If you want any real correction, you will either need some strong arms and a lot of time or a decent dual action polisher like the Porter Cable.

To take light scratches and surface marks out/off the paint, I use Maguire's Mirror Glaze #3 (or M3 and I call it). Stuff is amazing! Any type of mark in the paint that you cannot feel with your nail, will come off with this stuff. Also will buff out light scratches too. Really can't find it at Pep Boys, but online anywhere Maguire's professional products are sold.
