Leather Care?
So far I have been using a damp cloth to whip the seats down.
I was wandering, what's the best leather care product out there.
I don't want something that is going to deepen or lighten the color of my seats. (I have Red leather)
Just curious what everyone is using, and how they like it?

Nick - I have had very good luck with Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner in the brown plastic bottle. It dry's transparent and will not leave the white residue in the perforation holes. However, take a look at your OM - IIRC it states that the seats come with a "white protective coating" that some leather products will damage - or soemthing to that effect - sorry I'd look it up for ya - but it's late, I'm tired (and lazy too)!!
I'm using Meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner. It works great. Got the bottle of it then I used the wipes and found out that I like the wipes better, a lot easier if you ask me. My seats look really good afterwards.
Autopia website has many people who recommend a mixture of woolite and water 6:1 for cleaning. I used it, a little too sudsy. I diluted further, and it does take off dirt very well. It does not make the leather feel dry. I prefer over the lexol cleaner - -which also is sudsy. I also have the red seats, and there was no bleeding of color onto the rag I used.
For conditioner, I am probably going to get the zaino based on the recommendations of the autopia.org website. Like any forum there are alot of recommendations, but no one has anything but good to say about zaino. And, they love its smell qualities. There are a few cleaners and conditioners that people recommend frequently, including lexol, zaino, four star, autoglym and sonus among others.
I used Meguiars on other vehicle, and it was ok, but not great.
Lexol should be ok, I can't imagine it being a problem on the seat.
I believe the Zaino's is ok for the coated leathers, like the mustang. But the other ones should be checked for there use on coated leathers.

I have to say based on experience that I love Four Star Leather Cleaner and Conditioner!!! The conditioner leaves your car smelling like leather on the inside (not overpowering though). The woolite works, but I use it only when the leather is in bad condition or really dirty. For a new car I would go for a lighter cleaner since it is new. Highly recommend it! You can get it at PremiumAutoCare.com.
You can go wrong with any products that use silicone. So just make sure it doesn't have that. Connoly hide stuff as well as Leatherique (what I use) are the top two products if you read all the foofie car sites
...
Have a read here: http://www.leatherique.com/
THe amazing thing about leatherique is the cleaning system... you put the stuff on the leather and bake (put car in sun for 8 hours, or cover in black bags and heat). You'd be AMAZED at the cr@p that comes out of the leather. That is then wiped off and you apply the 'food/moisturizier'.

I used the Leatherique products as well, and they are great! They also carry leather dye so if you want to give it a try you can come up with some pretty cool two tone seats. I haven't tried it, but know people who have done it on their New Beetle seats and it turned out fabulous. The customer service at Leatherique was great as well.

I second MeGuiars! Best stuff I've ever used, I use Meguire's everything!
I just bought Meguires leather wipes the other day. The product seems to work pretty good, although I wouldn't suggest using it on the back seats, being vinyl and all, it leaves a shiny finish.
